Welcome to Tropez Health
We are committed to providing supportive housing with integrated behavioral health services and comprehensive community integration support.
Mission
We believe housing is healthcare, and that stability, access to care, and ongoing support are essential for long-term recovery. Many of the individuals we serve face interrelated challenges, including homelessness, serious mental illness, substance use disorders—including opioid, cocaine, and alcohol use disorders—and the lasting impacts of incarceration.
Through evidence-based care, harm reduction, and a housing-first model, we provide stable housing, behavioral health services, substance use treatment, case management, peer services, and access to medical care—addressing the full spectrum of needs essential for sustained recovery and successful community reintegration. Our approach is rooted in the belief that with the right support, every person can move toward health, independence, and a better future.
Impact
As a newly established nonprofit, Tropez is rapidly expanding housing and essential services for individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and justice system involvement:
500 Housing Units in Development – 300 supportive housing units and 200 affordable units currently under review by the NYC Department of Social Services and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, paving the way for expanded access to safe and permanent housing.
Site Secured in South Bronx – We have secured site control in Bronx ZIP code 10456, positioning our program at the heart of a community facing some of the highest rates of opioid overdose and housing instability in NYC.
Integrating Health Services – We are establishing on-site mental health and substance use treatment, along with primary care medical services and linkage, ensuring residents have access to critical healthcare resources.
Building Re-entry Support – Through direct coordination with Rikers Island re-entry teams, we are streamlining the transition from incarceration to housing and services, reducing barriers to stability.
Harm Reduction & Peer Services – We are strengthening harm reduction efforts, including Narcan training, education, and mentorship from individuals with lived experience, reinforcing a community-driven approach to recovery.
